The Garage

About The Garage

Faith formed for public impact.

The Garage prepares people—especially young people—to live purposefully, lead responsibly and contribute to the transformation of society.

Pastor Joel Harijgens

Why we exist

Prepare people for the places that shape society.

In the foundational Garage message Crushed, Joel Harijgens challenges Christian young people to become active contributors to society. When capable and principled people remain absent from leadership, enterprise and public decision-making, important spaces are left for others to define.

The Garage responds by connecting biblical formation with practical capacity. Its teaching encourages people to cultivate their gifts, build systems, develop leadership character, create partnerships and accept responsibility for the future of their communities and nation.
